An Interrogation

I just came back from my Med interview..
It was really difficult. They drilled me continuously. They wouldn't let a word out of my mouth without them asking about it.. It was so hard to have every word questioned. And yet a Muslim knows that each word is to be asked about on the Day of Judgement.

I told mama.. if this is how hard it is to be interrogated by two strangers

What is it to be interrogated by the AlMighty?

What is it to be interrogated by Allah SWT - Your Creator? Your Cherisher? Your Sustainer?
What will I do when I stand before Allah with my sins laid bare and the evil of my soul not hidden by my masks? What is it to know that there is no turning back? There is no way to change my evil heart? What is it to stand before my Lord and what do I answer when He asks me - did not I show you the way? did not you know that these things were evil? Did not you care that I heard and saw all?

What will I do when I stand before Allah and I know that nothing is hidden? That my true colours are out there laid bare before the Creator of the heavens and the earth?

  1. So true, sometimes we forget our main purpose in life because we'r so caught up in the world.
It is very hard to be interrogated by strangers and that's nothing compared to the Almighty.
May Allah grant us his mercy.Ameen.

  10. sorry about not replying to the other post yet. I want to give it my full attention so I'm leaving it for later when I can do that.

Thanks for sharing your blog with me. I gotta say I miss the black and white.

I didn't make it for med, and I didn't really deserve it anyway. Halfway through the year I stopped wanting it as much and I started getting doubts and I stopped studying very much (I mean.. barely).
People like that shouldn't become doctors.
Plus I'm totally unco and forgetful < patients lives are in danger!

    Optometry for me, it seems

  11. may Allah swt give you what you want. Well, I have doubts sometimes too such as if I could really deal with working with dead bodies because death etc depresses me. I guess its a phase and so shall it pass ... inshALLAH

Waiting to hear your response on evolution. Just to add, evolution has even happened on Earth since its creation till now. It went through MANY phases and is continuing to do so. :p

  13. Well you are still the same, still as great in your words, still as believing and you still manage to beat yourself more than people was actual masked evil in their harts.

What I wanna say is, if you think you have that much evil inside you then 3ala al donya elsalam, cause there is a lot of real evil out there.
